Job Description

Order Type : Direct Hire

This is a direct hire position for someone who has an interest in sales.  If you have other relatable experience, direct sales experience can be minimal if you have a willingness to learn. Position will be primarily inside sales with some outside. Up to 50% travel, mileage allowance.

The qualified candidate will be responsible for the direct marketing of all products to designated accounts to grow sales and gross profit. Other responsibilities include the following:

Account Management Responsibilities:

  • Act as key interface between the customer and all relevant departments.

  • Analyze sales trends, buying habits, product mix, and other customer data to make proper product recommendations.

  • Build relationships with purchasing agents/buyers.

  • Complete all new item submission forms/requirements.

  • Ensure high customer satisfaction from all customers

Sales Responsibilities:

  • Ability to grow sales and meet sales goals through account penetration, new accounts, reactivating inactive accounts, cross selling, etc.

  • Conduct monthly meetings with internal team to provide sales status update as well as identify specific growth opportunities.

  • Some travel required.

  • Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Work with Vice President of Sales to determine pricing structure as well as enter and maintain pricing files for assigned accounts.

  • Maintain opportunity/catalog review calendar as well as products pitched for those opportunities


  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree required

  • Prior Sales Experience required

  • Must be able to work independently and be self-driven

  • Proficient use of Power Point, Excel, and Word

  • Excellent communication and listening skills

  • Must have the ability to multi-task

  • Must have keen organizational skills
