We have an opening for a Customer Service Representative to service our automotive customers! The ideal candidate will have CSR experience in a manufacturing & business-to-business environment. This is not a full call center environment, but more of an account management & process coordinator position within a highly detailed & fast-paced environment. Our customer service representatives have a hire desire to service our customer with unparalleled customer service, while supporting and participating within our culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Order Entry: Process, acknowledge and follow up on customer orders received via e-mail, fax, phone, and EDI.  Includes, but not limited to:
    • Provide proactive vendor management service by checking for orders and releases located on customer portal websites.
    • Contract review and contract management
    • Release negotiations
    • Coordinate raw material procurement
    • Production scheduling
    • Order expedites
  • Answer and process customer calls received through our CS call center.
  • Process customer complaints, change orders, returns and expedite requests.
  • Interact and work closely with Customer Service Team Members, Team Leaders, Supervisors and Managers as well as interacting and consulting with individuals from various departments in order to process purchase orders and coordinate raw material procurement and production scheduling.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with entire organization about late orders, pricing discrepancies, and any other related items.
  • Review and process Terms & Conditions and Routing Guide instructions.
  • Review and investigate to provide resolution for corrective actions.
  • Strive to create a great customer experience through building a rapport with customers, being reliable, focusing on listening and helping them
  • Execute all duties according to the process standards and procedures setup by ISO 9001:2000

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • 2 – 5 years minimum customer service experience required.
  • Aptitude to gain knowledge of multiple functions or areas of the business in which there is frequent contact including purchasing, accounting, manufacturing & sales.
  • Excellent customer service, written & verbal communication capabilities
  • Strong collaborative, problem solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-orientated with superior organizational, prioritizing and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Drive to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment with excellent follow-through and follow-up skills.
  • Must be a team player and willing to grow & adapt with an expanding company.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and the internet a must, experience with AS400 and EDI a plus.
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently under minimal supervision as well as collaboratively with a team.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.
  • Leadership & Supervisory skills are a plus.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis.
