We have an excellent career opportunity available for a motivated sales manager to lead a team of sales professionals to grow our residential housing channel.

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will develop, recommend and execute business strategies to achieve our company growth and profitability initiatives. By developing strong business relationships and working closely with our Territory Sales Managers, the team will identify and close new business opportunities with current and prospective customers.

Job Requirements


  • Works with the Regional VP to develop and implement business strategies and action plans for our residential housing channel to ensure we achieve the sales growth, margin and profitability goals. Works with the Territory Sales Managers to align on a business plan for growth opportunities within each territory. Develops annual sales forecast for the region as well as each territory and monitors the progress against these targets.
  • Leads a team of Territory Sales Managers to effectively call on accounts and prospects on a regular basis to generate sales and develop/maintain relationships. Works with the TSMs to close new business opportunities or resolve complex customer issues. Reviews weekly sales report for the team. Reviews and approves the team’s expense reports as well as submits timely expense reports using the assigned technology.
  • Recommends to Executive Management new and/or improved ways to serve the market by evaluating what allows Style Crest to have a “niche” in the market. Defines and implements creative sales programs and promotions that fit the customer needs and specific market requirements in the region or a specific geographical area or customer type. Works with marketing on the development of sales tools and collateral for the RH channel. Works with operations and inside sales on ways to improve the customer experience as well as the efficiency of our service model.
  • Manages pricing, annual rebates, marketing funds, and other customer programs. Recommends pricing for the region to ensure we are competitive but considers the market and distribution costs in the decision. Monitors customer pricing against company parameters. Ensures pricing achieves the company’s profit objectives. Works with Territory Sales Managers on pricing structures and other assigned projects.
  • Develops and maintains strong business relationships with the key contacts within our book of business. Works with sales leadership to maintain a solid working relationship with our Independent Rep Group to ensure they are properly and effectively representing our products in their assigned areas.
  • Evaluates strategic factors that could impact sales objectives such as sales trends, competition pricing, economic factors, market conditions, changing customer needs, and customer strategies. Shares this information along with recommendations to adapt to take advantage of opportunities or overcome challenges.
  • Acts as a liaison between customers and Style Crest by interacting with internal departments to resolve complex customer issues timely.
  • Works with sales leadership, purchasing, and operations to review RH inventory being offered from the different distribution centers in the region. Assists with reviewing inventory stranded and potential opportunities to sell this product. Makes decisions that consider the customer, the costs, and the impact on the company’s inventory to avoid excess and obsolete situations.
  • Participates in all applicable trade shows, meetings, conferences and events related to the industry.


  • Demonstrated success in leading a sales team to achieve their goals with 5 years of sales management experience.
  • Knowledge of the building products industry with experience working with 1 and 2 step distribution.
  • Bachelor’s degree in sales or marketing or other related business field or equivalent work experience.
  • A creative thinker who will challenge the norm and think differently about how to serve the market.
  • A relationship builder who understands the sales cycle and has the ability to close a deal.
  • A strategic thinker with strong analytical, planning, decision making and problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated success at building and executing business plans.
  • Excellent sales, communication (verbal and written), organizational, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Embraces new ideas and the willingness to change and be different.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Excel, Word, & Outlook. Prior CRM experience is preferred.
  • Ability to be a team player committed to the success of the business.
  • Be a professional representative of the company and maintain confidentiality.
  • Must be capable of learning and training others on technical product knowledge.
  • Willing and able to travel on average 3 nights per week.
  • Must live between North Central Ohio and South Eastern Michigan.
