KING 5 is looking for a highly enthusiastic, self-motivated Copy Coordinator to specialize in working on the copy desk.  If you are a creative thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, team environment, KING 5 Sales wants to talk with you.

What you’ll do:

  • Work with Account Executives and assigned Account Manager in processing & execution of broadcast and digital orders
  • Traffic & copy desk support: ensure the correct creatives are attached to linear broadcast and digital orders, including OTT (“Over-the-Top”) Premion campaigns
  • Interact daily with local direct accounts and local/national agencies with specific responsibilities around copy and traffic
  • Manage revisions and missing instructions for assigned advertiser and communicate with the sales department regarding the status of any issues
  • Send dub list reports to Master Control and make manual log changes as needed
  • Create and schedule advertiser in-content sponsorship elements (tickers & billboards)
  • Pull reports for AEs an advertisers on a regular basis
  • Other responsibilities and special projects as they arise
  • Provide backup support to Receptionist

Job Requirements

What you need:

  • College degree with minimum one year media sales experience preferred
  • Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced, high pressured environment to meet strict deadlines
  • Solid time management, computer (Microsoft Office) and oral and written communications skills
  • Superior organizational skills – must be able to manage multiple priorities with confidence, balance and vigor
  • Strong analytical skills and impeccable attention to detail
  • Knowledge of video formats, codecs and bitrates, including Adobe Premiere (non-linear editing) and Adobe Media Encoder experience a plus
  • Wide Orbit Traffic experience a plus
