Job Description

KING 5 TV’s in-house creative and marketing department has a rare opening for a passionate producer with strong brand management, digital, and topical writing skills.  If you understand visual and creative storytelling, and can work fluidly back and forth between traditional and new media, we would love to hear from you.  This is your chance to live and create in one of the world’s most beautiful cities. 


We play across many arenas – news, sales, programming, social, and digital – supporting our media properties, KING, KONG, and  Be ready to touch and brand any of these through daily bread and butter on-air promotion, effective social media strategies and dynamic image campaigns.  Our award-winning creative team has all the tools and experience to support you.  We are producers, who create, write and edit for all platforms.  So are you.


What you need:

  • College degree with minimum 3 years of experience in promotions/marketing preferred.
  • A reel that supports excellent topical writing, photography and editing skills.
  • Strong background in news promotion.
  • Experience editing multiple digital video formats under tight deadlines.
  • Proven understanding of brand.
  • A desire to consistently innovate your work.
