Job Description

WUSA9, TEGNA Media in Washington, DC, is looking for an experienced Digital Account Manager to join our sales team. We are looking for a driven, solutions-based individual who will work directly with designated Account Executives to support their sales efforts through the use of Broadcast Television, Digital Video, Display, Online and Mobile, SEO, SEM, Email Marketing, Social Media Advertising and much more.

 

  • Daily interaction with existing agency and direct client business; this responsibility includes maintenance and fulfillment of television and digital campaigns, regular tracking of audience delivery, developing presentations, merchandising deliverables, order input, makegoods and providing a high level of customer service

  • Accurately set up new customer accounts, contracts, etc

  • Assists with coordinating customer traffic instructions and needed changes

  • Able to make decisions and solve problems independently

  • Partners with designated Account Executives to develop new and incremental revenue opportunities through consistent and creative prospecting

  • Provides accurate reporting and insights post-campaign

  • Attends sales meetings and training to obtain sales, product and process knowledge in order to articulate to clients when appropriate 

  • Creativity, flexibility, and ability to change with our industry are the critical keys to your success

Job Requirements

 Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree

  • Minimum 2 years of account management experience in the media industry with a strong digital foundation

  • Ability to provide customer service in a professional, fast-paced environment 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Stellar organization and time management skills

  • Ability to collaborate in a team environment, as well as work independently

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects effectively under deadline pressure

  • Ability to pivot quickly with change

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

  • WideOrbit and Salesforce experience a big plus
