TEGNA seeks entry-level Digital Ad Operations Coordinator to support regional and national direct campaign fulfillment for our OTT business, PREMION. The ideal candidate will work exclusively with the PREMION direct team based out of NYC to facilitate regional and national OTT advertising campaigns from order entry through campaign management and billing.

Digital Ad Operations Coordinators will master the digital workflow between business units and ad operations to provide end-to-end campaign fulfillment. This position is responsible for assisting in campaign fulfillment and creative executions to ensure delivery and key performance indicators are met.

Detailed training is also provided to the candidate selected.


Responsibilities include: 

  • Business Unit / Digital Ad Ops Workflow: Digital Ad Operations Coordinators will master the digital workflow that connects the business units they support and the order management systems and ad servers we maintain to fulfill buys across the OTT ad networks.
  • Order Quality Checks: Assists with inputting detailed information through workflow systems where required and identifies missing components needed to expedite campaign setup.
  • Campaign Scheduling and Delivery: Must be able to learn all aspects of the ad servers and how to appropriately schedule campaigns. Must follow delivery guidelines and tactics to ensure campaign delivery.
  • Urgent Support: Must provide urgent support to broadcast stations and Premion team for campaign requested needs.
  • Communication and Reporting: Send daily reports to PREMION stakeholders, communicate technical information and processes, email all contacts within in a timely fashion, and monitor email inbox consistently. Must be able to clearly communicate technical and detailed information across business units and teams promptly.
  • Time Management/Deadlines: Must work together with corresponding teams to adhere to deadlines/expectations of the fulfillment process.
  • Customer Service: Interaction with internal teams, vendors, and stations requires a successful candidate to possess a positive, customer-friendly attitude while working through day-to-day operations.


Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will have: 

  • 2+ years of working experience with digital ad serving platforms or in ad trafficking role is ideal OR 2+ years of practical work experience in advertising, customer service, or related business/technical roles. Experience with large agencies and national business a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university/college or technical related discipline required.
  • Demonstrated ability to function in a technical role.
  • Strong interpersonal and team skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects at once.
  • Superior organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Quick, adaptive learner who will develop expertise in digital workflow and ad serving systems.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to clearly convey technical and complex information through written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to react to change productively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (proficient-to-advanced skill set in Excel is a must.)
  • Salesforce experience a plus.
