The Opportunity

Premion, the new “Over-the-Top” (“OTT”) advertising and media business, seeks Digital Operations Lead. Premion is seeking an Ad Operations Lead to support our lead delivery & Affiliate management platform. The primary role is responsible for managing day to day activities to ensure the success of the affiliate campaigns. You will be a team leader and point person on all lead generation related tasks as well as conversion optimization across a wide range of internal products.

Premion is a high growth division of TEGNA.

Responsibilities

The Digital Operations Lead is expected to understand site ad functionality, including knowledge of all ad products available on our site. What we’re looking for:

What you will do:

 

  • Assist the Ad Ops Manager in ongoing projects and documentation to foster an efficient work flow and best practices.
  • Monitor daily pacing reports and communicate under-delivery issues to assigned contacts.
  • Monitor campaigns, making any necessary optimizations to placements, tags, creatives and/or 3rd party technologies to ensure expected delivery.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues leading up to a launch and during a live campaign that would prevent hitting KPI's and performance benchmarks.
  • Recognize, analyze and solve for discrepancies between ad servers as they arise.
  • Provide internal and external sales stakeholders with exceptional customer service and support.
  • Assist in the interview process by interviewing candidates and providing viable feedback.
  • Assist Ad Op team members with overflow orders by fulfilling the duties of order entry, trafficking, and/or campaign management when necessary.
  • Attend weekly pacing calls with the stations or to having weekly calls with the Premion Account Mangers to ensure pacing goals are met based on the preference provided by the station.
  • Escalate technical issues in terms of creatives and delivery to the appropriate parties.
  • Troubleshoot any internal ad ops issues as they arise.
  • Manage our “White Glove” accounts to ensure campaigns are scheduled on time and deliver successfully.

 

Job Requirements

Requirements:

 

  • 2 to 5-years of digital advertising and online media experience, with strong emphasis in ad trafficking, campaign management, delivery, and optimization.
  • 1 to 3 years of management or leadership experience.
  • Experience within the digital online ecosystem, including familiarity with third-party ad servers such as DoubleClick Campaign Analyst (DCM), Sizmek, Innovid, etc., as well as ad serving technologies such as DoubleClick for Publishers (DFP) & FreeWheel.
  • Professional communication skills, both internally and externally. Ability to articulate thoughts and concepts fluidly. Personality to quickly build rapport and build professional relationships.
  • Experience using ad servers such as Freewheel and DFP.
  • Expertly proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; ability to quickly learn and grow new productivity software application tools.
  • Strong independent thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong qualitative skills with ability to demonstrate quality data organization and analysis techniques.
  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently within a high-paced changing environment.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Flash, and JavaScript.
