TEGNA seeks Digital Ad Operations Specialist to support regional and national direct campaign fulfillment for our OTT business, PREMION. The ideal candidate will work exclusively with the PREMION direct team based out of our New York City office to facilitate regional and national OTT advertising campaigns from order entry through billing, with a focus on ad trafficking, campaign fulfillment, and quality control for major key accounts.

The Digital Ad Operations Specialist will play a critical role in managing all executional aspects of Premion direct key accounts pertaining to creative receipt and implementation, tracking, and campaign delivery, to ensure timely launch, flawless execution, and KPI fulfillment for all advertising campaigns. The ideal candidate has a passion for the OTT landscape, must possess excellent communication skills, and can ideate and work cross-functionally to bring those ideas to realization.

Detailed training will be provided to the candidate selected.  

             

Responsibilities include: 

  • Act as liaison with Premion direct sales, account management, and agency creative teams regarding implementing, scheduling, tracking, and delivery of campaigns. 
  • Assist with inputting detailed information into systems where required and identify missing components needed to expedite campaign setup. 
  • Accountable as the subject matter expert for all aspects of the ad servers and how to appropriately schedule campaigns. Must follow delivery guidelines and tactics to ensure campaign delivery. 
  • Work closely with manager to serve as a point of contact between ad server/ operations and account management. 
  • Support all creative trafficking needs by scheduling and maintaining placements, rotation of ads, and creative throughout the lifetime of campaigns. Embed additional survey, audience measurement, verification, and other tracking components for external vendors as needed. 
  • Support daily QA and timely troubleshooting of all placements, tagging, and floodlights/vendor pixels for on-site tracking implementations to ensure proper tracking 
  • Proactively communicate with all internal teams at the onset of a campaign to identify and implement all creative and technical requirements

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will have: 

  • 2-3+ years ad operations experience either agency side or within the digital industry, trafficking large-scale media campaigns or comparable experience with digital ad serving platforms or in ad trafficking.
  • Must have experience fulfilling and executing digital advertising campaigns, preferable from large agencies.
  • Experience with cross-media creative, delivery platforms, and/or 3rd Party Ad Verification systems.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects at once with superior organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Quick, adaptive learner who will quickly develop expertise in digital workflow and ad serving systems.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical and complex information.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (proficient-to-advanced skillset in Excel is a must.
  • Ability to react to change productively a must.
  • Salesforce Experience a plus.
  • A strong can-do, positive attitude and a strong desire to get things done.
