Daily Blast Live, an innovative live show from TEGNA, based in Denver, CO, has an immediate opening for a Digital Media Director. If LIVE TV gets you excited, and you have both digital news and entertainment experience, Daily Blast Live is the show for you.

The Digital Media Director is versatile, able to work in a fast-paced live studio show environment. This person needs to have excellent management skills and a passion for producing creative content and an eye for detail.

The Digital Media Director will be integral in leading the digital team, with experience developing strategy, executing across tactics, assisting to monetize social media platforms and measuring the positive impact to our brand through various social media platforms.

This individual must be passionate about our mission as they will be leading the charge to build out our digital fan base—both inspiring our current fans and connecting with new fans.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Daily Blast Live’s digital marketing efforts including developing and executing integrated, cross-platform communication strategies and campaigns that excite our key audience.
  • Build and engage our community through powerful storytelling.
  • Optimize and manage digital marketing campaigns and company pages (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc.) with defined goals and measurables.
  • Develop a plan to grow followers and engagement.
  • Develop benchmarks and measurement for our digital plans; analyze data to continue to optimize plan and provide weekly reporting.
  • Provide education and training on the latest trends.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Strong experience of managing a digital staff.
  • Digital and social marketing experience across owned channels (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn Instagram, Medium Blog, Google, Website,) from creating integrated digital marketing plans to execution and measurement.
  • Demonstrated ability to use creative thinking to develop compelling social media content and to simplify complex technical data
  • Experience using integrated social media tactics to supplement PR activities and other brand activities.
  • Experience developing measurement tracking for digital initiatives.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience writing blog posts and engaging social media content.
  • Analytical in nature using data to drive decision.
