The award-winning WXIA-TV/11Alive team is looking for a talented, energetic Digital Producer to join out fantastic team! 

The Digital Producer is responsible for creating unique, engaging content and distributing it throughout social media channels on behalf of 11Alive Local Programming shows.

Essential Job Duties and Skills:

  • Develop a uniquely crafted voice and social media content on behalf of 11Alive’s Local Programming Dept.
  • Create, post and manage content for the web/social media channels.
  • Ensure content has been proofed and approved before it’s posted.
  • Identify opportunities/threats in user-generated content.
  • Participate in and mediate conversations taking place within social media.
  • Monitor social media daily for trends/events that could affect all assigned/relevant accounts.

Job Requirements

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s in journalism, communications, English or related field.
  • An understanding and passion for the social media universe including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Periscope, YouTube, Blogging platforms, etc.
  • Excellent creative writing and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with best-in-class examples of brands in social media.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Impeccable spelling and grammar.
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines.
