Job Description

KENS-TV, CBS Affiliate in San Antonio, Texas / A TEGNA Company has an opening with the Great Day SA morning show for a FULL-TIME ELC BROADCAST DIRECTOR. Candidate must be able to code, coordinate and execute all technical aspects of a multi-camera, multi-live shot, multi-talent live lifestyle program. Candidate must be a strong team leader with exceptional communication, problem solving and multi-tasking skills. The selected candidate will be a team-player, a self-motivator, and someone who can fill in the gaps where needed and as appointed by the Executive Producer.

Job Requirements

 

Experience with the following technical equipment required:

  • Sony ELC control room automation system

or similar broadcast standard production control room automation system

  • Automation coding
  • Editing (Sony, Avid, Adobe, or similar editing systems)
  • Various camera systems (and operating)

Experience with the following technical equipment preferred:

  • Sony 8000 series switchers
  • JL Cooper remote automated audio mixer
  • AP ENPS news creation software (ver. 7.2.1)
  • Miranda Vertigo Xplay – Character generator software
  • Sonaps Video server play out system
  • Sony Xmedia Video Server
  • Grass Valley Encore digital router
  • Prefer audio and/or lighting experience
  • Evertz MVP control room monitor display
  • Titan Master Control Automation server
  • Ross Cam-bot and Sony PTZ cameras
  • Element lighting control systems (a plus)
  • Wincue Autocue Teleprompter (a plus)
