Great Day Louisiana Account Executive

Job Description

WWLTV is looking for a highly organized and results driven individual to join our sales team as a Great Day Louisiana Account Executive. This position will focus on identifying and selling local businesses sponsored segments on Great Day Louisiana, while also generating incremental revenue opportunities through Broadcast TV and Digital advertising campaigns, tied to an individualized budget and plan. The Great Day Louisiana Account Executive will work to uncover untapped verticals and identify new sponsorable content opportunities within the show. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, confident individual who is a natural multi-tasker that enjoys working individually and in collaborative scenarios. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect new sales leads across a variety of verticals.
  • Make daily in-person and over-the-phone calls to prospective businesses.
  • Utilize sales department CRM (Salesforce) to manage new sales opportunities. 
  • Build and cultivate prospect relationships by initiating communications and conducting follow-up communications to move opportunities through the sales funnel.
  • Attend Great Day Louisiana planning meetings to review upcoming segments and identify revenue-generating opportunities. 
  • Uncover additional upsell opportunities for Great Day Louisiana sponsors including traditional Broadcast TV advertising campaigns as well as Digital advertising campaigns utilizing a suite of Digital solutions like Streaming OTT (Over-The-Top), Display, Targeted Email, PPC, and Social Advertising

Job Requirements

Key Requirements and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • A minimum 2 years of sales experience.
  • General knowledge and understanding of the industry and local market.
  • Digital advertising (Display, SEM/PPC, SEO, Email, and Social Media) sales experience ideal.
  • Understanding of new business prospecting and cold-calling.
  • Exceptional phone and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with others and work across departments effectively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook.
  • Excellent presentations skills.
