Job Description

KTVB/KTFT, the NBC affiliate in Boise and Twin Falls, is seeking a Market Development Specialist to identify and connect with high profile corporate and retail/target category clients to create and implement multi-platform on-air and new media campaigns that drive new revenue and expand the station’s existing revenue base. 

Success in the role will be measured by the number of new business accounts that are activated to drive achievement of new business goals.

Responsibilities include:

  • Executing successful strategies by capitalizing on station strengths, creating sales opportunities and building lucrative local partnerships.
  • Creating and maintaining dynamic sales content and sponsorships on KTVB, KTFT and all digital properties.
  • Working with managers and team to identify potential high dollar accounts within targeted categories and participating in development and presentation of campaigns that achieve desired client results and yield profitable revenue results.
  • Internal execution responsibility includes utilizing available resources and coordinating sales, marketing and news personnel as well as monitoring campaign details to meet commitments on sponsorship projects. The expectation is that the creation and delivery of high impact multi-media sales packages, presentations and collateral will result in top line station revenue results.

Job Requirements

Qualifications include: 

  • Bachelors degree preferred.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in sales, marketing, and/or related field is required.
  • Experience with on-air/lifestyle show and special content is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Must possess the ability to build strong relationships and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated experience and ability used to create compelling sales presentations.
