Job Description

WFAA is looking for an organized, driven and creative Marketing Solutions Strategist to join our team.You will provide campaign-related support, take ownership of timely campaign implementation and drive projects to completion. This is an opportunity for a motivated individual to build positive relationships across various departments and help enable WFAA to deliver a stellar client experience through our creative solutions.

​Under direction/supervision of Special Projects Manager, provide support to sales on pre-sale activities including participation in brainstorming campaign strategies based on client objectives and offering viable options

  • Work closely with Special Projects Manager to coordinate campaign activities, assign tasks, manage deadlines and drive campaigns to completion; creating timelines, contest rules when applicable
  • As assigned by Special Projects Manager, create campaign assets (digital, script creation, production) as needed
  • Create and design client-focused, impactful presentations, focusing on strategic clients & campaigns, and driving a self-serve model for smaller projects
  • Attend sales meetings and trainings to obtain sales, product and process information
  • Owner of keeping asset library updated on sales site
  • Work with Research to incorporate impactful insights within sponsorship packages
  • Support research team in completion of basic requests with potential for more depending on need
  • Maintain regular project tracking to enable management visibility
  • Both Special Projects Manager and Marketing Solutions Strategist should be on all sponsorship/campaign-related correspondence​
  • Provide campaign related support to Special Projects Manager
  • Take ownership of & be accountable for accurate and timely implementation of campaigns
  • Manage internal and external campaign deadlines
  • Strong and positive relationship with sales (and marketing, community marketing, research)
  • Able to gather information and assets from a variety of sources and track projects to completion
  • Keep abreast of company products and services in order to articulate accurately
  • Works with a sense of urgency in completion of projects and requests, communicating when deadlines are at risk
  • Flexible as the media landscape evolves and needs change

 

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience in project or account management
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects effectively under deadline pressure
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Problem-solver with high standard of professionalism and accuracy
  • Customer focus, solution oriented
  • Strong aptitude with PowerPoint and Excel a must
  • A positive, can-do attitude highly desirable
  • College degree ​
