Summary:

The TEGNA Financial Services team, located in Dallas, TX, is seeking an experienced Media/Broadcasting Reconciliation Specialist to join the Log Reconciliation/Billing Team. TEGNA is one of the largest media companies in the United Stations, with brands that reach more than 90 million people per month.

Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for the daily reconciliation of television and digital logs.  This includes working closely with each TEGNA TV station to ensure changes to the logs are processed in a timely manner in preparation for weekly/broadcast invoicing and month-end close, on-boarding of new stations, collection and reporting of data and assisting with projects as needed.

This role will provide the opportunity for personal and career growth for a motivated and well-organized person with excellent communication skills and who can work under deadline pressure with speed and accuracy.
 

Job Requirements

 Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Undergraduate degree is preferred.

3 years related to invoice corrections, invoice resends, demand billing, ACH/Vendor forms, Month-End processing and customer service experience required.

Media/Television/Broadcasting experience a plus

Experience with TV log reconciliation a plus.

Experience processing live checks via bank portal is preferred.

Strong research skills.

Solid organizational skills.

Strong analytical skills

Knowledge of basic accounting principles, procedures, and business math.

Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Ability to multi-task successfully and meet deadlines in fast-paced environment.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Strong interpersonal skills.

Ability to create and contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment.

Able to work a flexible schedule and extended hours as needed.​
