Multi-Platform Producer (Editor)

Job Description

KHOU 11 has an immediate opening for an experienced Multi-Platform Producer with non-linear video editor experience.  This role will be responsible for editing VO/SOTS, packages, and pre-produced opens on Sony XPRI editor, as well as tuning in live trucks, satellites, and TVU backpack signals, and posting content online and on social media.

Here’s what you need to be considered: 

  • BA/BS in journalism, communications or related field

  • A minimum of 2 years of news editing experience required

  • Ability to work well with others as well as take direction

  • Additional experience in photography, writing, and producing is a plus

  • Ability to work weekends and holidays
