Job Description

WUSA9 is looking for an organized, driven and creative Multiplatform Marketing Strategist to join our team.  This is an opportunity for a motivated individual to help build our brand awareness, engagement and ratings. This is a new role that will inform and help produce campaigns and initiatives with the insights necessary to ensure we deliver creative that aligns with our brand, briefs, KPIs and objectives across platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer and campaign insights
  • Implement digital marketing campaigns
  • Provide analytics with data that inform strategic marketing decisions.
  • Take ownership of & be accountable for accurate and timely implementation and reporting of digital campaigns
  • Share insights and analytics on campaign performance in a language that creatives understand
  • Maintain regular project tracking to enable management visibility
  • Create campaign assets and deliverables as directed
  • Create and design impactful presentations
  • Actively participate in marketing meetings, brainstorms, strategic planning sessions, shoots and event activations
  • Work with Research to incorporate impactful insights within marketing campaigns
  • Provide campaign related support to Head of Marketing and Brand Manager
  • Build creative toolkit through training to help support marketing team in completion of creative requests
  • Help manage internal and external campaign deadlines
  • Strong and positive relationship with content, marketing, community marketing, research and sales
  • Able to gather information and assets from a variety of sources and track projects to completion
  • Keep abreast of content calendar, marketing initiatives and trends to help us make data driven creative decisions
  • Works with a sense of urgency in completion of projects and requests, communicating when deadlines are at risk​
  • Be a brand ambassador inside and outside the building
  • Be flexible as the media landscape evolves and needs change​

Job Requirements

 Requirements:

  • Minimum 5-7 years experience in research, digital and marketing
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects effectively under deadline pressure
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Solution-oriented with high standard of professionalism and accuracy
  • Strong aptitude with graphics, digital, PowerPoint and Excel a must
  • Creative thinker and strong communicator
  • A positive, can-do attitude highly desirable
  • College degree 
  • Desire to Grow with Us​
