Job Snapshot

About Us

WPMT FOX43 is one of the oldest operating UHF stations in the country. FOX43 changed the face of local news when the station introduced a ten o'clock news to the Harrisburg-Lancaster-Lebanon-York, Pennsylvania market in 1994......."at 10 it's news, at 11 it's history". FOX43 NEWS has consistently been a ratings and award winner since that launch, inspiring the addition of other non-traditional news broadcasts, like the only all local six hour morning news. FOX43 lives up to its “Expect More” promise to Central PA viewers, by currently providing more hours of local news than any other local station.  Not only can Central PA “Expect More” when it comes to news coverage, but also in the station’s involvement in the cities, towns, and communities that make up who we are. FOX43 is very involved local events such as the York Fair and the Long's Park 4th of July fireworks in Lancaster, as well as helping raise money and awareness for the local Salvation Army chapter, the epidemic opioid crisis in Central Pennsylvania, and the Red Cross (FOX43 is currently the largest blood donation partner in the region). WPMT is always on alert for new and better ways to serve its viewing community.
