Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION 

As an intern with our news team you will be contributing in a  variety of ways to WQAD.  The ideal candidate will be creative and outgoing with a natural curiosity.  Experience in writing, video editing/shooting and reporting will be helpful.  A summer with WQAD will teach you the fundamentals of telling a complete and understandable story in a variety of ways.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

 

You will learn to write, edit and shoot video under daily deadlines by the end of the summer.  This will be a stair-step process that will give you the tools and knowledge to be a successful journalist after graduation.  The goal of our program is to train you to be the next great journalist.
