Premion (www.premionmedia.com) is leading the way at the local and regional level with advertisers and directly connecting them to premium, long form episodic content from over 125+ branded content networks.

The Opportunity

Premion is hiring a Regional Sales Director for Midwest region that will take a leadership position focusing on sales of our Premion OTT/CTV advertising solution to agencies and clients.  This person will provide collaborative leadership and support to sellers in multiple markets and maintain responsibility for total revenue achievement across the region. This position reports to the Head of National Sales.

Currently TEGNA employs salesforce in 51 US markets within its station groups and regional markets who are representing Premion within those and their surrounding markets.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage all sales efforts for Premion in the Chicago market and Midwest Region
  • Become a subject matter expert in all things OTT, digital video and related data application
  • Leverage and develop existing and new relationships with agencies in the market(s)
  • Develop and execute a strategic revenue plan that achieves goals and grows market share within the assigned territory
  • Work closely with inventory and ad operations teams to maximize all opportunities
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with peers across the organization
  • Identify, monitor and accurately forecast sales activity
  • Partner with Premion Marketing to develop and maximize Premion’s business and brand in the Midwest Region
  • Recognize the changing media landscape and adjust strategy and tactical plans quickly

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field
  • Minimum of 6-8 years of media sales experience in key markets including large Mid-West markets (Minneapolis, Detroit and others)
  • Proven innovative sales leader with record of sales achievement
  • Knowledge of all facets of broadcast, OTT and/or digital video
  • Effective driver of integrated revenue and strategy
  • Ability to think and lead strategically as thought leader and problem solver
  • Strong attention to detail and roll up your sleeves mentality.
  • Advanced CRM system experience; Salesforce.com experience preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, team and leadership skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to travel 20% of the time
