Job Description

​This position focuses on maintaining and improving day-to-day internal processes ensuring the accuracy and delivery of exceptional service to WBIR's customers.  This position also supports the entire sales department through facilitating training and on-boarding of new employees.  The focus is on seamless execution of sales processes to allow Account Executives and Sales Managers to focus on pure sales. Direct reports will be Digital Sales Specialist and Traffic. This position will report to the Director of Sales. ​

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, maintain and improve workflow processes for all digital campaigns and our traffic department
  • Recruit, hire, on-board, assess skills, train & retain Digital Sales Specialist and Traffic staff over time
  • Develop, implement and maintain WBIR's "On-boarding Passport" for all new Sales employees
  • Lead operational training initiatives on reporting, tracking, optimizing and maintaining campaigns/software
  • Coordinates commercial optimization of daily logs, with oversight of TCO relationship. This includes, reconciliation and write-ons, with the goal of reducing order entry errors
  • Works with Accounting to ensure payments from customers are made on time and that aging is in good standing
  • Interfaces with TEGNA departments outside WBIR (BDAL, TMS, Premion) to ensure Sales fulfillment needs are met​

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of account service in a professional, fast paced environment
  • College Degree preferred
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel & PowerPoint
  • Proficient understanding of Nielsen rating methodology ​
