Job Description

​KVUE is looking for a Special Projects Producer to develop compelling, transformational content.

​​​Responsibilities will include researching, writing and editing content for anchors, especially for our critical 10 p.m. newscast. Content categories would include Interactive Talent Explainers, background content on big stories, historical topics unique to Austin and Central Texas and other content as assigned. This position will also include the need to act as a utility fill in line producer on a variety of newscasts.

Job Requirements

Here’s what you need: 

​​​The successful candidate will be versatile with excellent skills with respect to research, writing and editing, and knowledge of the effective of use of graphics and other tools to tell stories in the most compelling manner. A bachelor's degree in journalism or communications is preferred. At least 5 years of experience in producing newscasts, special content, or both.
