Premion is the market-leading advertising services platform offering advertisers (local, regional and national) access to premium long-form episodic video content in partnership with 125+ branded CTV/OTT content providers. Premion has rolled out nationwide with ability to deliver campaigns in single and multiple DMAs, leveraging its own sales team as well as TEGNA’s sales force of more than 700 sellers across the country. Premion also provides audience targeting, measurement and verification, complete transparency through its client-facing reporting, and attribution services focused on providing clients with the business outcomes they are seeking. 

The Opportunity

Premion is looking for a Vice President / Head of Product to drive strategy, planning, execution and implementation of our product and services roadmap. This includes new CTV/OTT and other digital advertising products and services  - both industry-leading external advertising and data-focused client solutions as well as internal products that enable best in class execution of the business. 

This key leadership role within the Premion executive team partners with internal constituents and directly with advertisers, content providers, development and technology partners as well as other sales and distribution teams.  The role also involves partnering with internal and external development and operations teams. 

This leader will innovate and implement new products, services, and features that deliver exceptional value to the largest players across the CTV/OTT advertising ecosystem. The ideal candidate is a thought leader who understands the CTT/OTT advertising ecosystem, including advertisers, content providers and the related technology ecosystem, and can develop a product strategy that continues to differentiate our business. 


  • Define Premion’s product strategy as well as prioritize and manage Premion’s roadmap.
  • Interface with clients, salespeople, client services and operations teams to understand needs and opportunities.
  • Work with marketing, sales and research teams to monitor the competitive landscape to understand key points of differentiation and implications for product.
  • Monitor the technology landscape to understand how emerging technologies and new providers may impact Premion’s competitive position.
  • Serve as the domain expert and thought leader, with a deep understanding of the ad tech landscape and how Premion can continue to lead and differentiate in digital and linear.
  • Ensure that product requirements are continuously reviewed and evolving appropriately ahead of the market.
  • Work with product development team to determine appropriate approach: build vs. lease vs. acquire.
  • Define detailed product requirements and work closely with the product development team throughout the product lifecycle to ensure that the deliverable meets the outlined requirements.
  • Speak the language of the engineering, design, data science, and go-to-market functions to coordinate complex cross-functional initiatives.
  • Own the roll-out of the product both internally and to channel partner sales force.

Job Requirements


  • 10+ years of relevant product strategy and product management experience in digital advertising and media.
  • A passion for creating advertising and media products, services and features that are market leading, innovative and deliver exceptional customer value.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proven success working across cross-functional teams and in a matrix reporting environment, influencing and leading teams with and without direct authority.
  • Collaborative leadership, team management and development expertise.
  • Ability to build a resilient product development process and execute a plan to deliver new products and features in a timely manner to ensure Premion leads the market.
  • Comfortable making decisions with revised information and evolving market and competitive dynamics.
  • Strong technical acumen and ability to work closely with product and engineering.
  • A fast learning curve, with the ability to understand our customer’s needs on both a business and technical level.
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and adapt in a growth environment.
  • Experienced and comfortable working with executives, designers and developers.
