We offer competitive compensation and benefits and are searching for innovative people to join our teams.                                          This position provides drafting services for power systems for landfill/solid waste and natural gas projects. Experience with Civil 3D design work for civil, site layout, well pad design, pond grading, channel grading, and pipeline projects with the power generation and oil and gas industry is desirable.

What you're responsibilities will be:
•Operate CADD work stations, plotters, printers, and other associated equipment to support the preparation of designs for environmental and infrastructure projects including investigations, assessments, engineering studies, designs, and construction-phase services.
•Develop and plot maps showing topographical contours, elevations, profiles and cross-sections as well as develop and draft geotechnical and structural design drawings of structures and installations such as roads, culverts, pipelines, manholes, tanks, buildings, landfills, etc.
•Support preparation of engineering reports, cost estimates, specifications, construction schedules, and designs for projects for mechanical, electrical/instrumentation, and process design drawings that include equipment, control panels, electrical schematics and single lines, conduit and cable schedules, process piping and flow diagrams, etc.

Job Requirements

What we are looking for:•Associate degree in Drafting/CADD or certificate from college or technical school required. •Candidate must have 5 or more years of experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D/Land Desktop/Micro Station preparing plans, profiles, and details.
•Pipeline experience and alignment sheet preparation highly recommended. Site development and grading plan experience highly recommended.
•Must be able to prepare plans, profiles, and detail drawings using Civil 3D. •Must have exceptional communication skills (client relations, team project communications, and proposal and report development).
•Must have experience working in a consulting environment will be considered an asset.
•Must have MS Word and Excel knowledge for preparation of specifications and other various documents.
•Must be an independent thinker and be able to take over projects with minimal training.
•Must have experience in CAD Design with respect to the landfill/solid waste and natural gas industries highly desired.
•Ability to work with complex engineering and mathematical concepts and principles.
•Ability to apply engineering and mathematical concepts to practical situations.
•Ability to retain knowledge from lessons learned and incorporate that knowledge into future projects.
•Knowledge and experience of various state agency electronic submission guidelines a plus.
•Ability to use google earth proficiently a plus.
•Ability to use AutoCAD proficiently a plus.
