ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
 
•         Core cutting
•         Assist with unloading the crated core from the core transport truck
•         Loading triple-tubed core from the crates to the logging benches
•         Building core boxes
•         Boxing triple-tubed core after it has been logged
•         Palletizing boxed core
 
The Technician will support logging through the following:
•         Opening triple tubes
•         Washing core
•         Photographing drill core
  • Moving palletized core to and from the warehouse

 
QUALIFICATIONS OR REQUIREMENTS   To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, and talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. The employee must regularly operate a computer. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus, and the ability to judge distances. 

Job Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:  High School Diploma is required.
