Tetra Tech is currently seeking a Human Resources Assistant to work in our Pasadena, CA corporate office.  This is a part-time job with the opportunity for at least 24 hours per week and access to a competitive benefits package. 
In this role you will provide support for the corporate human resources team.   Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Supporting the recruitment process by posting job jobs, preparing offer letters, and onboarding new employee
  • Performing various HRIS tasks including data entry and report generation
  • Supporting employees through various HR processes including leaves of absences, benefits changes, and employment separations
  • Assembling important HR document packages, collecting required paperwork, and performing electronic and hard copy filing
  • Providing lunch hour and rest break coverage at the company’s reception desk
  • Supporting special projects that serve human resources teams across the company

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate must have strong communication and organizational skills, and be able to excel within a fast-paced environment. Proficient computer skills are required (MS Office Suite), and experience with Oracle ERP & Taleo Applicant Tracking System (ATS) are a plus. Great customer service ability is essential to success in this role.

Previous professional experience in an office environment is preferred. 1-2 years’ experience in the field of Human Resources is desired. Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required.
