Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist (Temporary Position)
Location: Muscle Shoals, AL
Job Type: Temporary | Full-Time
Work Schedule:
- Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- Lunch: 1-hour unpaid lunch break
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable (AP/AR) Specialist to join our team on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ERP platforms and a strong background in AP/AR operations, preferably within manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain industries. Key Responsibilities:
- Enter simple purchase orders into ERP systems (ERP platform knowledge required).
- Enter AP invoices into preliminary status using the IFS ERP platform.
- Perform AR collections and generate AR invoices in the Vantage Platform.
- Support Proof of Delivery (POD) requests and resend AR invoices as needed.
- Manage outgoing shipments via UPS/FedEx.
- Serve as the first point of contact for incoming calls and reception duties.
Work Experience
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable roles, preferably in manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain environments.
- Proficiency in ERP platforms is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid mathematical skills and high attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a commitment to accuracy.
- Positive, professional attitude with a team-first mindset.
