Are you a customer service pro with solid cash-handling skills? Onin Staffing is looking for a friendly and detail-oriented Cashier for a temp-to-hire position with a large, family-owned construction supply company in the Albuquerque area. This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with a well-respected local business.



Key Responsibilities

  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Handle cash, credit card, and check payments, and ensure your cash drawer is balanced.
  • Provide excellent customer service, greeting customers and assisting them with their purchases.
  • Answer customer questions and direct them to the appropriate department.
  • Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.


What We're Looking For

  • Proven cash handling experience is a must.
  • Strong customer service experience in a retail or similar setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work a consistent Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM schedule.
  • Reliable and punctual.


Compensation & Details

  • $18 per hour
  • This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position.
  • The role is with a large, locally family-owned construction supply company.
