Job Summary:

HD Supply in Henrico, VA is seeking reliable and safety-conscious Cherry Picker Operators to join our warehouse team. As a Cherry Picker Operator, you will be responsible for accurately picking, staging, and transporting materials using a powered industrial truck (PIT) in a fast-paced distribution environment.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a cherry picker forklift to retrieve and move products to designated areas
  • Accurately pick orders from warehouse racks using RF scanners or pick sheets
  • Stage, palletize, and prepare products for shipment
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any issues
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies


Work Experience

Qualifications:

  • 6 months to 1 year of recent experience operating a cherry picker or similar PIT equipment (required)
  • Valid forklift certification (preferred or can be obtained upon hire)
  • Comfortable working at heights
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
