Contract Bookkeeper

Job Description

Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to assist with a short-term project (2–4 weeks). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), account reconciliation, and be proficient in QuickBooks and Excel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage AR/AP transactions accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Reconcile accounts and ensure records are up to date.

  • Enter, review, and maintain financial data in QuickBooks and Excel.

  • Assist with general bookkeeping tasks to support the finance team.

  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.

Skills and Experience:

Qualifications

  • Proven bookkeeping experience with a focus on AR/AP.

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel required.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

  • Experience in account reconciliation.

Contract Details

  • Duration: 2–4 weeks

  • Schedule: Flexible (hours can be discussed)
