Overview:

Onin Staffing is seeking a Contracts Administrator who plays a key role in supporting and advancing the daily operations of the Contracts Department. This position is responsible for ensuring the timely execution of contract renewals, reviewing and approving vendor terms and conditions, managing subcontractor agreements, and maintaining compliance with federal, municipal, and internal requirements. This is a direct-hire opportunity.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying process improvements and efficiencies. The Contracts Administrator will also serve as a co-administrator for the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform, ensuring that all contract-related activities are managed efficiently and in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Administer all aspects of the contract lifecycle, including review, negotiation, execution, and renewal.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and methodologies related to contract management.

  • Review bid packages to identify legal and commercial risks and escalate as appropriate.

  • Manage and monitor contract expirations, renewals, and pricing updates.

  • Lead terms and conditions negotiations independently with customers and vendors.

  • Support subcontract management, including both company subcontracting and third-party subcontractor oversight.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with departments to gather information and ensure alignment on contract deliverables.

  • Prepare, track, and report contract statuses and upcoming deadlines to management.

  • Work closely with the Contracts Manager to ensure timely review and execution of agreements.

  • Assist with minor contract modifications or prepare documents for legal review.

  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, mitigate risks, and increase operational efficiency.

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation within the CLM system.

  • Provide support for audits, contract closeouts, and other compliance-related activities.
Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of an Associate Degree in Contract Management, Paralegal Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Equivalent experience in contract management may be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • 5+ years of experience in a contracts, business, or legal administration role.

  • Experience working with a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong understanding of contract workflows, compliance, and documentation standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) or higher in a related field.

  • Professional certification in Contracts, Procurement, or a related discipline.

  • Notary designation or experience in an industrial or corporate environment is a plus.

This position operates primarily in an office environment with standard business hours. Extended hours may occasionally be required to meet deadlines or support urgent contractual matters.
