Job Summary:

Onin Staffing is hiring a skilled and motivated Control Technician for a client in the Albuquerque area. This role involves working with electrical and mechanical control systems to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently. Ideal for candidates with a background in industrial automation, maintenance, or electrical systems.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair control systems and electrical components
  • Calibrate sensors, PLCs, and other automation equipment
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals
  • Perform preventative maintenance and system upgrades
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve issues
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in industrial controls, automation, or electrical maintenance
  • Familiarity with PLC programming and troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment
