Job Summary:

Onin Staffing is hiring a skilled Crane Operator to support operations at a busy recycling facility in Albuquerque, NM. This role involves operating overhead cranes and other heavy equipment to move, load, and organize recyclable materials safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced industrial environment and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate overhead cranes to move scrap metal and other recyclable materials.
  • Load and unload materials from trucks, bins, and conveyor belts.
  • Inspect equipment daily and report any maintenance or safety issues.
  • Follow all safety protocols and plant procedures.
  • Assist with general labor tasks as needed to support plant operations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.


Qualifications:

  • Previous experience operating cranes or heavy equipment preferred.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment (lifting, standing, exposure to outdoor elements).
  • Strong attention to detail and safety.
  • Reliable transportation and punctuality.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime if needed.


Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work in hot, cold, or noisy environments.
  • Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and operating machinery.
