Job Description
Onin Staffing is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor. As an Electrical Supervisor you will be responsible for training and mentoring staff, creating work schedules, providing technical assistance, and troubleshooting system issues. You may also be required to maintain and repair the electrical equipment used on-site. You should exhibit strong leadership skills and have sound knowledge of industrial and commercial electrical systems and ensure that all the electrical work done on-site is completed on time and to code.
Responsibilities:
• Schedule and coordinate team to keep up with production needs
o Plan installation and wiring of cable tray and equipment, such as generators, switches,
panelboards, HVACs and load centers according to wiring diagrams
o Interpret blueprints, specs, written and verbal instructions
• Inspect electrical systems and equipment to identify problems and ensure effective installation and
maintenance while ensuring all electrical work complies with safety standards and regulations
• Assist in Preventative Maintenance of the plant and office facilities
• Administrative duties consisting of verifying time, production notes, etc.
Work Experience
Requirements:
• Journeyman or Master Electrician preferred
• Minimum of 10 years electrical experience
o minimum of 2 years of formal technical training in principles of electricity and electrical
design
o working knowledge of construction math, blueprint and technical drawing
interpretation, and power/hand tool use-including use of conduit bender
o knowledge of panels, UPS, and control
o previous experience in the field of electrical installation on job site preferred
