Job Description

Overview:

Onin Staffing has an excellent opportunity for an Electronic Technician in a manufacturing environment! We’re seeking an experienced 12-volt DC Electrician to assemble and install wiring, harnesses, and consoles in specialty vehicles.

Shift: Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble and install electrical systems for emergency vehicles.
  • Use various power tools, including compound miter saws, band saws, radial arm saws, routers, die grinders, and sanders.
  • Perform precise measurements and cuts.
  • Work with wiring harnesses, electrical consoles, and related components.
  • Read and follow schematics, diagrams, and work orders.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Working Conditions

  • Typical automotive manufacturing environment (hot/cold/dusty).
  • Physical work requiring standing, kneeling, bending, and lifting to complete tasks.
  • May require work inside vehicles in various positions and spaces.

Skills and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • 12-volt DC electrical experience required; automotive environment preferred.
  • Prior work in automotive manufacturing or electrical/electronic systems is a plus.
  • Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Strong work ethic, attendance, and reliability required.
  • Must be able to work occasional overtime.
