Overview:
We are seeking skilled industrial Sewers to assist in the production of products through the art of sewing materials together. In this position, you will operate sewing machines to join pieces of durable medical-grade fabrics, adhering to templates and machine instructions to ensure proper alignment. Additionally, you will manage straps, hardware, and thread while verifying that each piece is neatly trimmed and prepared for use. We do offer sewing school for the first week and seek to train the right motivated candidate!
What you'll be responsible for as a sewer:
Utilizing single-needle sewing machines
Adhering to guides and templates
Conducting thorough inspections for errors
Selecting appropriate materials
Maintaining a tidy and well-organized workspace
Skills and Experience:
Ideal candidate will possess 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred).
Experience with industrial sewing is highly desirable!
Comfortable with prolonged sitting and using hands, arms, and legs to manipulate materials.
Capable of lifting objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
Strong vision (including color vision) is a key requirement for this role.
