MIG / TIG Welder
Shift: FIRST (5am-3pm) **MUST BE FLEXIBLE TO WORK ANY SHIFT INCLUDING WEEKENDS**
Pay Rate: $17.00 / hr (depending on experience)

What you'll do a MIG/TIG Welder:
The MIG welder uses MIG (metal inert gas) welding equipment to assemble fabricated metal products in an efficient manner to maximize production. This position operates the equipment in a safe manner and reports hazards associated with the equipment or its operation.
- Ability to safely operate, set up, and adjusts MIG/TIG welding equipment and operate simple hand and power tools.
- Ability to weld vertical or flat welds with acceptable quality consistently.
- Ability to weld the following and any combinations of the following: wire & metal
- Ability to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, bend, climb, squat, and weld in awkward positions for prolonged periods.
- Ability to work levers, buttons, and/or foot pedals
- Ability to use simple gauges and other instruments
Work Experience
Specific qualifications for this role include:
• Experience with steel, aluminum and/or copper required
• Experience with MIG and TIG welding highly preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy items up to 50 pounds consistently required.
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
• Ability to identify and measure material
• Ability to produce quality products consistently
• Ability to follow instructions given both verbally and in written form
• Willingness to learn and work to the best of his/her abilities as well as dependable work ethic
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs and uses
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, calipers, tape measures and angle gauges
*Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and E-Verify*
