We are searching for experienced MIG Welders for the Hokes Bluff area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing MIG welding to fabricate, repair, and assemble metal structures and components. The MIG Welder will work with various materials to ensure high-quality welds that meet safety and engineering standards.


What's in if for you:

  • 1st shift 6:00am-4:30pm
  • Monday through Thursday with the possibility of overtime on Friday and/or Saturday
  • Pay rate is going to depend on skill level and experience $15-$19/hr
  • Affordable benefits after 30 days including $5 copays at the doctor $5 prescriptions and free teledoc


Key Responsibilities:

  • Welding Operations: Perform MIG welding on a variety of metals using the appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret welding blueprints, schematics, and work orders to determine welding requirements.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that welds are completed with precision, cleanliness, and accuracy, adhering to all safety, quality, and specification standards.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain welding equipment such as MIG welders, cutting tools, and grinders. Report any maintenance or repair needs to supervisors.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Assembly & Fabrication: Assist with the assembly and fabrication of metal structures and components as per specifications.
  • Inspection and Testing: Inspect welded joints for quality, strength, and appearance, and perform necessary tests to verify that the weld meets the required specifications.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure projects are completed on time and meet required standards.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including time logs, materials used, and welding specifications.


Work Experience

The Preferred Candidate Might Have:


  • Experience is preferred for this position and candidate will complete a weld test prior to placement.
  • Provide own welding hood
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Steel-toed boots
