Job Description
Join a team that powers production, with a trusted manufacturer of plastic products. We are currently looking to add an experienced Machinery Mechanic to our 2nd shift maintenance team.
you’ll be responsible for maintaining and supporting our production machinery with a focus on plastics and injection molding equipment. If you have mechanical troubleshooting experience and exposure to industrial or plastics manufacturing environments — we want to hear from you.
Support machine setup, operation, and shutdown processes
Perform basic to intermediate maintenance on injection molding and other plastics machinery
Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
Assist with machine changeovers and adjustments
Keep equipment and work areas clean, safe, and operational
Document maintenance activities and communicate effectively with team leads
Opportunity to train into full maintenance technician role over time
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment
- Maintain process equipment and controls
- Adhere to food safe requirements
- Perform PM's and emergency repairs
Work Experience
The preferred candidate might:
- Experience in a plastics manufacturing environment is required
- Injection molding experience preferred but not required
- Solid understanding of mechanical systems; familiarity with hydraulic/pneumatic systems is a plus
- Multi-craft ability (electrical, mechanical, troubleshooting) is a strong bonus
- Willingness to learn, train, and grow into more advanced maintenance responsibilities
- Able to work overnight/2nd shift schedule consistently
- Strong work ethic and team-oriented mindset
