What You'll Do as: Maintenance Technician
- Maintain equipment to perform at manufactures standards.
- Conducts daily pre-start-up procedures to ensure equipment is ready for production.
- Properly reads, comprehends and completes required forms.
- Conducts post repair evaluations to ensure equipment is ready for production.
- Properly uses chemicals / lubrications as specified on manufacturers label.
- Reports and takes necessary action to prevent food safety, legality and quality problems from occurring.
- Follows and enforces programs and procedures outlined in the Food Safety and Quality Manual to support compliance with GFSI Global Standard for Food Safety and other third-party audits.
Work Experience
Abilities Required
- Pass a background check and drug screen.
- Able to troubleshoot, recognize, and repair mechanical / electrical problems.
- Able to operate hand and power tools.
- Able to operate machining and welding equipment.
- Able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
- Able to climb ladders and work at heights.
- Able to communicate and work effectively with all employees.
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions in a timely manner.
- Able to be forklift certified.
