Ōnin Staffing is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a steel manufacturing company in Birmingham. This full-time, salaried position offers competitive pay and the chance to support a dynamic product line.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Optimize production workflows using lean manufacturing techniques
  • Implement and uphold quality and safety standards
  • Train and support production staff
  • Contribute to equipment upgrades and process improvements

Work Experience

Qualifications:

  • Engineering degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years in manufacturing (metal fabrication preferred)
  • Knowledge of welding, machining, forming, and lean methods
  • Skilled in problem-solving and team training
  • CAD and ERP software experience a plus
