Ōnin Staffing is currently hiring full time Plasma Operators within our client’s facilities. You will be operating a plasma machines with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety. Your job could involve driving around warehouses, storage spaces and other facilities. You must be a responsible individual with great experience in operating oxy machinery. The goal will be to ensure that material and products produced in a efficient manner. We provide weekly pay, benefits, overtime opportunities, and the ability to advance your career.

Job Duties:

• Pulling and staging feed stock for production orders
• Finishing and inspecting product to meet customer expectations
• Pulling and staging material for production orders
• Machine set-up, change consumables, and tooling set-up
• Daily machine operation for part processing
• Part inspection to ensure quality specifications
• Use measuring equipment such as calipers and tape measures for inspection of products
• Proactively recognize defective material
• Packaging of material to customer requirements
• Scrap management of remnants and efficient scrap utilization
• Accurate work order confirmation on paper and computer
• Stage material for shipping
• Operating an overhead crane to move material as needed
• Operating a forklift to move material as needed
• Carrying/moving supplies as needed
• Maximum productivity for finished goods creation
• Other miscellaneous duties as directed by supervision• You will setup and process burn orders on plasma / oxy machinery
• Operating forklift and using a remote controlled overhead crane to move material throughout the warehouse
• Other duties as assigned by leadership

Job Requirements:

• Forklift, Overhead Crane, and good computer skills
• Plasma experience
• Read and understand blueprints
• Experience working in a metals warehouse setting preferred.
• Must be able to accurately use measuring tools, specifically a tape measure, micrometer, and caliper.
• Must be a team player
