What you'll do as: Production Lead Operator

• Operate production machinery according to specifications
• Maintain logs and records of production
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
• Troubleshoot and adjust machine lines

The preferred candidate should have:

• Experience in leadership roles
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations
• Experience in production equipment operation
• Ability to interpret and translate designs and documentation
• Trains and enforces compliances on established best practices with all personnel
• Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to troubleshoot, adjust, and debug the equipment and production lines required in house or at the customer's facility
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Understanding of and the ability to abide by applicable OSHA and environmental regulations, to include LOTO and GPI’s 7 Safety Absolutes
• Visual color discrimination, the ability to match or detect differences between colors, including shades of colors
• Ability to work under minimal supervision
• Strong leadership skills responsible for overseeing a production team, ensuring safety, quality standards are met, and maintaining operational efficiency.
• Coordinate and supervise the daily production activities of assigned staff
• Ensure that production goals and objectives are met in a timely and efficient manner
• Monitor production performance, identify areas of improvement, and take corrective action as needed
• Ensure that production processes are carried out in accordance with established safety and quality standards
• Train and mentor production staff in the use of equipment and processes
• Enforce company policies and procedures in a consistent and fair manner
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper stock rotation
• Troubleshoot production issues and resolve them in a timely manner
