As a Quality Technician at TemperPack, you’ll play a key role in maintaining product quality through inspections, measurements, and process oversight. You’ll work hands on with raw materials, finished goods, and our production team to ensure all standards are met and exceeded.



Work Experience

Responsibilities

  • Inspect incoming parts, raw materials, and finished products
  • Use tools like measuring tape, scales, and thickness gauges to perform quality checks
  • Verify labeling and quantities for accuracy
  • Read and interpret manufacturing specifications
  • Operate label scanners and tablets for tracking and documentation
  • Identify, quarantine, and manage nonconforming products
  • Maintain and calibrate quality control equipment
  • Review and help develop QC testing procedures
  • Provide guidance and feedback to production and quality staff
  • Promote and model best practices in quality and safety


Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of experience in Quality Control, manufacturing, or warehouse environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality, STEM, or related field
  • Bilingual candidates are highly preferred


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for 10–12 hours per shift
  • Lift up to 25 lbs. regularly; push/pull 40–100 lbs. unassisted
  • Perform repetitive tasks with frequent bending, kneeling, and climbing
  • Work in both hot and cold environments
  • Wear proper PPE for the entire shift
  • Quickly respond to sensory cues (noises, visual alerts, odors)
