Ōnin Staffing is hiring Reach Truck / Cherry Picker Operators, and our main requirement is:
1 year of experience + a GREAT attitude. That’s it!
What You’ll Do as a Reach Truck / Cherry Picker Operator
- Operate Reach Trucks and Cherry Pickers safely and efficiently to support daily warehouse operations
- Load and unload trucks accurately and on time
- Conduct routine equipment inspections to ensure proper function and safety
- Follow all safety procedures and company regulations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Read and interpret production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
- Transport materials from receiving or production areas to designated storage locations
- Sort and place items on racks, shelves, or bins according to size, type, style, color, or product code
- Label materials with identifying information for easy tracking
- Organize stock parts in the correct sequence for assembly by other team members
- Enter and maintain inventory records accurately in the warehouse management system
Skills and Experience:
Minimum 1 year of Reach Truck and Cherry picker operating experience
Certification preferred but not required
Experience operating Crown, Hyster, or Yale forklifts is a plus
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Willingness to work overtime when needed
Ability to complete tasks in standardized situations with minimal supervision or limited variation
