Overview:

Job Summary:
The Shipping/Receiving Associate is responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments. This includes receiving, inspecting, and verifying deliveries, as well as preparing and packaging products for shipment. The role requires attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.

  • Verify accuracy of orders against packing slips and purchase orders.

  • Prepare, pack, and label outgoing shipments.

  • Maintain accurate shipping/receiving records.

  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment as needed.

  • Keep the shipping/receiving area clean and organized.

  • Communicate with carriers, drivers, and internal departments to ensure timely deliveries.

Skills and Experience:

Requirements:

  • Previous warehouse or shipping/receiving experience preferred.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Basic computer skills for order entry and tracking.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
