Job Description
ONIN Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping/Receiving Clerk who will also serve as a Purchasing Assistant to join our client’s team. This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position with standard business hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use carrier software such as UPS WorldShip, FedEx Freight, and Southeastern Freight to create bills of lading and invoices
- Process shipping paperwork and set up freight shipments, including international freight
- Manage purchase orders, sales orders, and invoices accurately
- Post invoices in accounts payable, requiring basic accounting experience
- Coordinate effectively with the shipping team and other departments
- Maintain organization and handle multiple tasks efficiently
Qualifications:
- Experience with shipping carrier software (UPS WorldShip, FedEx Freight, Southeastern Freight, or similar)
- Knowledge of freight processing and international shipping paperwork
- Experience with purchase orders, sales orders, invoicing, and posting invoices in accounts payable
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Effective communication skills
- Basic accounting experience is required
