Overview:
Receive incoming shipments by inspecting packages, and verifying contents against packing slips or purchase orders
Scan and process inbound and outbound shipments using handheld scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS)
Accurately label, tag, and document items for inventory and shipment tracking
Prepare and pack outgoing shipments according to company and carrier standards
Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or hand trucks (if certified)
Perform manual lifting of packages and materials (up to 50 lbs) as needed throughout the day
Maintain an organized shipping and receiving area, ensuring items are properly sorted and stored
Communicate with internal teams and carriers to resolve any discrepancies or delays
Follow all company safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and lifting techniques
Assist with periodic inventory counts, audits, and restocking efforts
Skills and Experience:
Previous experience in shipping and receiving or general warehouse operations
Familiarity with barcode scanning and warehouse inventory systems
Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly
