Job Description

Overview:

 We’re seeking a dedicated Staff Accountant to join our team during the busy tax season and beyond. This position is ideal for someone with a strong accounting foundation who enjoys a mix of bookkeeping, tax, and financial reporting responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Accounts Payable and process payments accurately
  • Complete bank reconciliations and maintain general ledger accuracy
  • Prepare and file sales tax, 941/940 payroll tax reports, and assist with corporate tax returns
  • Record journal entries and support month-end and year-end close
  • Assist with payroll accounting and related reporting

Skills and Experience:

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
  • 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Familiarity with payroll and tax preparation preferred
  • Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
